The Shark Bay World Heritage Area is home to Dirk Hartog Island National Park, Francois Peron National Park, and Edel Land (Proposed) National Park, all of which offer the chance to experience spectacular coastal scenery, rare wildlife and stunning ancient landscapes. Whether walking along the rugged and breathtaking coastline, swimming or snorkelling in our pristine waters, kayaking, fishing, day tripping or camping, exploring Shark Bay’s National Parks is a truly unique experience.
The Department of Conservation, Biodiversity and Attractions (DCBA) is responsible for managing WA’s National Parks. Daily entrance fees and camping fees apply, and money raised from these fees contributes to the management of parks, protection of the environment and development and maintenance of services and facilities.
